The Romany font is an non-connecting script which was originally designed by A.R. Bosco and released by American Type Founders in 1934. As my first revival effort and my first commercial release, Romany proved to be a successful design. The terminals were painstakingly drawn to avoid the sausage-like appearance of many rounded typefaces, and to keep the look of a Speedball pen. Classy yet casual, like stilettos and denim.
