Custom fonts for SAP called 72
Created for the Fiori UX, the typeface named 72 was custom made for SAP. The name is a nod to the founding year of SAP—1972. It’s a rather simple and mild typeface that is made for heavy lifting. A tall x-height and humanist design features work well on the pixel grid. It adds a softness to data heavy environments. Besides a mass of Latin-based languages, it also supports Greek and Cyrillic scripts for an even broader audience. Hinted and tuned for screen by my fellow engineers at Monotype. Art direction collaboration with SAP in-house designers and Monotype. 2016
